Lynne Williams is Headteacher of Bryn Coch Primary School, which is a large community primary school with approximately 630 learners, situated in the market town of Mold in Flintshire. The school has two specialist Learning Resource Centres for learners with complex learning needs as well as a pre-school and wraparound care club. Lynne started her career 29 years ago, has taught in a variety of schools, where she spent time as Head of a Language Resource Centre. Lynne has been headteacher for fifteen years and was an experienced Estyn peer inspector.
Lynne is an active member of a range of networks including the Local School Cluster within Flintshire, she is also the Flintshire Headteacher Federation secretary. Lynne is also an NPQH assessor and mentors’ colleagues from neighbouring authorities on the Senior Leadership Development Programme.
