One of our core purposes is to contribute to the development of current and aspiring leaders across the education system in Wales. We do this by providing coherence and quality assurance for educational leadership provision available in Wales.
Endorsed Leadership Provision
Endorsement from the National Academy for Educational Leadership demonstrates that the provision has met the high standards set out in the endorsement criteria through a rigorous peer led two stage process.
Endorsement assures leaders that the provision is underpinned by international evidence on what makes effective leadership and will have a positive impact on outcomes for learners.
Innovation
Educational leaders in Wales are operating in challenging, unpredictable circumstances and understand that innovative systems, tools and thinking are essential. We support innovation through:
An Innovation Pathway fund where new leadership provision can be developed through new thinking and actions.
Annual Innovation workshops to stimulate innovative thinking and action among educational leaders.
