Caroline Lewis

Caroline Lewis is the Academic Director for Post Compulsory Education & Training (PCET) at the University of Wales Trinity St David (Swansea campus). Within that role Caroline oversees the teacher training provision for post-16 education settings for both the university and associated partner colleges. Caroline is also an executive member of the British Education Studies Association and is currently Chair of the organisation. She also works as part of the USCET post-16 sub-group and additionally works on the leadership pathway for the National MA Education (Wales). Caroline’s areas of research interest relate to education policy, leadership development and the experiences of women within educational leadership. She has been involved in a number of Welsh Government research initiatives into the post-16 teacher training sector and has also worked to support participants within the Aurora leadership programme as well as working with colleagues to support the work of the UWTSD Women’s Network.
