Damien Beech

Damien Beech has worked in education for nearly a quarter of a century. Most of his career has been spent in Swansea, where he has been a primary school teacher, deputy headteacher, and headteacher. In 2019, Damien became an Associate of the National Academy for Educational Leadership in the second cohort. Later the same year, Damien left headship to become Swansea’s Principal School Improvement Adviser for primary schools. In September 2022, Damien returned to headship and he is now the headteacher at Goetre Primary School, Merthyr.
