Karl Lawson

Karl Lawson is Deputy Headteacher at Ysgol John Bright in Llandudno where he has led on a number of school improvement areas, including teaching and learning, professional learning, early career induction and health and well-being, working with colleagues across both Wales and in England to facilitate improvements in all of these. Karl previously held the role of Chair and Chief Examiner for A Level Religious Studies at WJEC for several years and has also authored a number of subject textbooks. 

Karl enjoys spending time with his family and is married to Helen and has two grown up daughters, Rebecca and Jasmine. Karl’s hobbies include reading, listening to a wide variety of music and he is currently learning how to be an amateur wildlife photographer with a definite emphasis of enthusiasm over proficiency.
