Dr Paul Marshall is Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Careers & Enterprise) at the University of East London. Paul’s previous roles include Group Director of Business Development with University Partnerships Programme (UPP), Chief Executive of the Association of Business Schools and Executive Director of the 1994 Group of Universities. Paul has a wealth of experience in the public sector and has been a chair and member of many charity and commercial boards at national level and has led two national higher education organisations.
A graduate of the University of Sussex (Phd, MA, BA), he has 25 years’ experience of working in the higher education sector. He joined UPP from the Association of Business Schools and worked with the government to develop the small business charter. Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and the Royal Society of the Arts and a former judge of the Times Higher Awards.
Paul is looking forward to working with the Leadership Academy to expand its role and supporting the transformation of the education sector at national level.
