Penny is an Assistant Headteacher at The Maelor School in Penley, Wrexham. Her experiences have included work on the GwE Schools Peer & Improvement Partnership Programme, OLEVI project and Schools Challenge Cymru. She is enthusiastic to continue her work on Innovation in Practice following successful work focussing on the Lyn Sharratt Clarity collaborative programme. Penny is also an Approval Panel Member for Qualifications Wales and has been involved in consultancy work with the Higher Education Academy Strategic Enhancement Group.

Penny has a keen interest in interior design and DIY. She has enjoyed a recent cottage renovation, upcycling furniture and is always looking for her next creative project. To relax Penny spends time on the Llyn Peninsula with her family taking long walks, playing golf and paddleboarding.
