Ceri is Head of school/Deputy headteacher at Morriston Comprehensive in Swansea and currently seconded to the National Academy for Educational Leadership as the Pedagogy Project Lead. She is passionate about learning and teaching and developing practice by ensuring the strategic leadership of pedagogy.
Ceri started her career as a geography teacher in 1997, and has worked in several schools across South Wales. She is an Estyn Peer Inspector and was the Assistant headteacher with responsibility for the Curriculum for Wales Pioneer work at Y Pant School. She is keen to establish national conversations and networks of leaders to successfully build an effective curriculum for the young people of Wales.
Ceri is an identical twin and spends as much time with her siblings and nephew as possible. She is very sporty and can regularly be found at the gym, out with friends for a latte or reading a rather eclectic selection of books. She holds a 3rd Dan Black belt in Karate and on occasion can be seen riding a Kawasaki Ninja.
