As an Associate Trefor has contributed to a variety of workstreams and projects including facilitating activities and events, and the publication of cohort 2s commission report. Trefor is looking forward to being able to share the findings of the commission and generate discussions to make the findings a reality. Trefor’s aspiration for the Leadership Academy is to see the organisation achieve its vision of Inspiring Leaders, Enriching Lives, offering leaders, as the voice of the profession, the opportunity to constructively and positively improve the educational offer for people of all ages in Wales.

Trefor is married to Elinor, a primary school teacher in Wrexham, and a proud dad of two children, Tomos and Sioned. He is a keen supporter of Liverpool, the Ospreys and of course Wales! Two of his favourite memories are completing the British Three Peaks challenge, in conjunction with the staff from Ysgol Gyfun Maes yr Yrfa (now Maes y Gwendraeth) and completing the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge with his family. The Yorkshire Three Peaks are next on the list!
