We currently have two programmes endorsed by the National Academy for Educational Leadership: the 6-Day Advanced Executive Coaching Programme and the 3-Day Advanced Leadership Programme in Coaching & EQ. Senior leaders and leadership teams across south and mid-Wales have benefited from both of these programmes.
I applied for the Leadership Academy endorsement as the teaching profession is very much a part of who I am, and I am keen to make a difference to our sector in Wales. Having the Leadership Academy endorse our programmes is a great support in enabling our work to reach more schools and leaders in Wales.
I heard about the process from a colleague working within the local authority who suggested that I complete an application. Even though we are a very small company the Leadership Academy believes in our work and supported us throughout the whole process. This was very important to us and we felt extremely valued by the organisation. The endorsement process was easy to apply for, it was straightforward and the documentation and information provided by the Leadership Academy was detailed and extremely useful.
The benefits of endorsement include support for our company through promotion on the Leadership Academy website and, having gone through the rigorous but fair quality assurance process, it enables leaders to recognise that our programmes are of a high quality and standard. It also enables us as a company to review our processes and procedures on a regular basis to meet the standards set out by the Leadership Academy.
As a result of endorsement schools are now recognising who we are and what we have to offer and I will be submitting further applications for the endorsement process this year.
