Kelvin Law is Headteacher of Romilly Primary School in Barry. He has worked with Central South Consortium (CSC) and Welsh Government in creating the Central South Wales Challenge, promoting school-to-school working and the role of the Self-Improving system with Professor Mel Ainscow. Kelvin has also been Chair of CSC Delegate Headteacher group since 2017.
In his role with the Leadership Academy Kelvin has collaborated with fellow Academy Associates in the second cohort to co-author and publish a commission report that he hopes will influence national and local approaches to developing the Welsh language and culture. He has also established links with international colleagues and leadership communities to promote and develop the Welsh education system.
Kelvin would like to truly embed the Leadership Academy as a dynamic, forward thinking organisation which provides a strong voice for school leaders in Wales to drive forward the education agenda.
