In Conversation events

Our In Conversation events support the publication of our Insight Series papers. These online events explore the topics and themes of the papers with the author and practitioners sharing their thoughts and views in relation to their own experience, organisations and settings. International Blether

We deliver International Blether in conversation events as part of the Tri Nations Collaboration between the Centre for School Leadership, Ireland, Education Scotland and the National Academy for Educational Leadership Wales. The International Blether events are open to all educators and leaders across the three nations. Previous Blethers have explored leaders’ well-being and middle leadership.

Leadership Unlocked

Our popular Leadership Unlocked webinars are guided by a notable guest speaker and are designed for those in senior leadership roles from schools, the youth work sector and further education colleges and aims to support them in their roles as system leaders. These web-based events deliver high quality and inspirational professional learning, that is engaging, stimulating, motivational, collaborative, inclusive and equitable to all. The webinars feature speakers from within and outside the field of education and previous speakers have included Professor Mick Waters, Professor Laura McAllister, Professor Graham Donaldson and Diana Osagie.

National Conferences

We currently deliver annual conferences focusing on well-being and middle leadership. Our conferences feature international speakers exploring the most up to date research and practitioners sharing their experiences as voices from the field. Previous conferences have focussed on Compassionate Leadership and Leading from the Middle with guest speakers such as Dr John De Nobile, Professor Alma Harris, Professor Michael West CBE and Dr Ali Davies.
