Joanne Cueto
Associate
Joanne Cueto is headteacher of Maindee Primary School in Newport. Her previous roles include headteacher of Waunfawr Primary School (2013–2019), deputy headteacher of Palmerston Primary School (2010-2012) and acting deputy headteacher of Hollybush Primary School (2007-2010).
As an Associate Joanne is looking forward to supporting and inspiring the development of high-quality leadership in education and having the opportunity to influence policy and practice across Wales to grow a world class education system for all children.
Joanne has two children who keep her very busy. She likes to meet up with friends and enjoys eating out. She also likes spending time outdoors in the fresh air and finding ways to be active.
